TERRACOTTA MALE FIGURE 1930–1950

An antique garden sculpture depicting a male figure, possibly an athlete. Made from solid terracotta, it retains traces of an old white-painted finish, now cracked and partially worn away through prolonged exposure to the elements.

Areas of pink terracotta show through the surface, creating a richly textured and distinctive patina. The arms are truncated, most likely as the result of historic damage. Wear, losses and traces of outdoor exposure contribute to the unique character of the piece.
