Vintage camera tripod – 1901

A unique floor lamp created from an antique photographic camera mounted on an extendable tripod.

The camera is a Le Radieux model by E. Girard & A. Boitte, Paris, circa 1898–1901, originally designed for photography. It has been carefully converted into a decorative lamp by an amateur lighting maker, preserving its original character while giving it a new function.

The adjustable wooden tripod gives the piece a strong sculptural presence and allows the height to be adapted according to the space.

Materials: wood, metal, glass
Height: adjustable between 85 and 135 cm
Condition: very good vintage condition

Priced 350 euros at the atelier
